Loan and Grant Programs

Our rural economic development loan and grant programs provide both start-up and expansion grants.

Loans are available at extremely low percentage interest rates to encourage economic growth and job creation within our service territory.

Our grant program is designed to establish a Hancock-Wood revolving loan fund that would be used for business growth in our area.Eligible recipients are for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations and public entities that wish to establish and maintain a zero to low interest revolving loan fund with us, depending upon criteria.

Program funds are derived from annual appropriations from Congress and are made available to us through the United States Department of Agriculture.

We demonstrate our Concern for Community by volunteering and donating to local charitable causes. Nearly $500,000 in grants have been distributed in the last decade through grants and Operation Round Up funds to individuals and organizations in need. We also provide assistance to Habitat for Humanity, schools, churches and community events. To learn more, click on Community Involvement above. learn more
