2022 Election Information

Voting has ended and the election results will be announced on June 11. 

All members in districts 3, 6, and 9 will vote for their respective trustee. The Board of Trustees seats come up for election every three years. One trustee is elected for each open district seat to represent that district. The district seats are staggered each year so not all 10- board seats are open at one time. 

The Board of Trustees are also requesting all members to approve a change to the code of regulations. Review the proposed change here.

The 2021 Annual Meeting minutes will need to be approved during the 2022 Annual Buisness Meeting. 


We demonstrate our Concern for Community by volunteering and donating to local charitable causes. Nearly $500,000 in grants have been distributed in the last decade through grants and Operation Round Up funds to individuals and organizations in need. Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative has granted more than $100,000 in scholarships within the last decade. An additional Power Systems Engineer (PSE) Scholarship has been added to the program. The winner of this scholarship is eligible for paid internship(s) in the co-op’s engineering department. learn more
