Annual Meeting 2021


The 2021 annual meeting will take place on June 12th at 10am, and it will be virtual.

RSVP with your name, email, and phone number to or by calling our office at 800-445-4840. All members RSVP'd will be entered into a drawing- one $500 bill credit and 15 $100 bill credits will be drawn on June 12. During the month of June, we will be handing out travel medical kits available for pickup at our office (one per membership, while supplies last).

The virtual event includes the 2020 business update from the cooperative as well as election results for districts 1, 4, 5, and 10.
Election material has been sent to all members- only members in districts 1, 4, 5 and 10 will be voting on trustees all other districts will be voting on proposed code of regulations changes. Members have the option to vote online as well. Ballots must be in by May 27.

We demonstrate our Concern for Community by volunteering and donating to local charitable causes. Nearly $500,000 in grants have been distributed in the last decade through grants and Operation Round Up funds to individuals and organizations in need. Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative has granted more than $100,000 in scholarships within the last decade. An additional Power Systems Engineer (PSE) Scholarship has been added to the program. The winner of this scholarship is eligible for paid internship(s) in the co-op’s engineering department. learn more
