NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - On Friday at Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative, members of all ages are invited to “Family Fun Day,” a free open house-style event on Friday, June 24 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at its North Baltimore office just off I-75 at exit 167. In addition to all the fun, members can attend one or all of Hancock-Wood’s “Learning Sessions”:

12:00 pm - Green Energy & Windmills: Questions & Answers 
12:30 pm - Lowering your bill with
1:00 pm - Rates Q & A

Among the other event highlights: (rain or shine)
• Jump on huge bouncy inflatables
• Free hot dogs, chips, cookies, drinks and sno cones (while supplies last)
• Free lunch tote to each membership in attendance (while supplies last)
• Tours of the Hancock-Wood office and warehouse
• See a line truck from the inside
• Meet the employees who provide power to customers everyday
• See the cooperative in action
• Prism Propane will fill grill tanks while you wait for only $13 (plus tax).

We demonstrate our Concern for Community by volunteering and donating to local charitable causes. Nearly $500,000 in grants have been distributed in the last decade through grants and Operation Round Up funds to individuals and organizations in need. Hancock-Wood keeps Member owners informed about legislation that could impact their rights or lead to unstable energy costs. Your voice has been heard at the highest court in the land. In response to petitions by electric co-ops, states and industry, the U.S. Supreme Court granted a stay of the Clean Power Plan. This is an unprecedented act by the Supreme Court.
