LED Lighting Rebate

Hancock-Wood Offers a 25% Off Rebate on the Purchase of ENERGY STAR® Labeled LED Lights until Funds are Depleted.

Save up to 25% off a purchase of ENERGY STAR® rated LED lights. Residential LEDs – especially ENERGY STAR rated products – use at least 75% less energy, and last 25 times longer, than incandescent lighting. 


• This rebate only is available to residential Members of Hancock-Wood. Bulbs must be installed on HWE Members property.
• Must purchase new ENERGY STAR® labeled LED light bulbs. Click here for a list of all ENERGY STAR® products.
• Members may receive a savings of 25% on a LED purchase with a maximum rebate of $50.
• Must provide original receipt to get credit for purchase.

• Purchase must be made between Jan. 1, 2022 and Dec. 31, 2022.


Offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis and expires when rebate funds are depleted.

How do I participate?

  1. Download and print, call us at 800-445-4840 or Contact Us for a rebate form.
  2. Complete and submit the rebate form including a copy of your receipt and ENERGY STAR® label.
  3. A check will be mailed to the Member within four weeks.



• A maximum of two rebates may be paid per residential Member from Jan. 1, 2022 and Dec. 31, 2022.

• Rebate will be in the form of a bill credit unless indicated by Member.

Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative has granted more than $100,000 in scholarships within the last decade. An additional Power Systems Engineer (PSE) Scholarship has been added to the program. The winner of this scholarship is eligible for paid internship(s) in the co-op’s engineering department. learn more
