Refrigerator Rebate

Hancock-Wood Offers a $100 Rebate on the Purchase of an ENERGY STAR® Refrigerator until Funds are Depleted.

Replace your old, inefficient refrigerator in your home with an ENERGY STAR® refrigerator to receive a $100 Hancock-Wood rebate – and save on your energy costs!

Consult with your appliance dealer about removing your older, less energy-efficient refrigerator. We caution you against repurposing the old refrigerator, especially to a garage or barn that becomes very hot in warmer weather. That could cause this older appliance to work harder to keep items cool and cause a significant increase in your energy bill.

This rebate is available only to residential Members of Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative.

Purchase must be a new ENERGY STAR® certified refrigerator, 10-30 cubic feet in size, and made between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018.

Hancock-Wood's rebate budget is limited. Offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Offer expires when funds are depleted.

  • If you pay less for your refrigerator than the rebate amount, you will receive only the amount you paid.
  • Only ENERGY STAR® certified refrigerators are eligible.
  • A maximum of two rebates may be paid per residential Member home from Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018.

How do I participate?

  1. Download or Contact Us for a rebate form.
  2. Complete and submit the rebate form including a copy of your purchase receipt and ENERGY STAR® label.
  3. Rebate will be in the form of a bill credit unless indicated by Member.
